TV Confessions!

I have never really been a big TV person, but there are always 1-2 shows a week that I really enjoy each season. In honor of the fact that we (STAN) got cable today, I thought I would tell you a bit about what I'm digging on TV right now. :) I must confess that there are now a few more than 1 or 2 shows that I watch each week - I feel like a total couch potato! (but I love it!) I will list them in order of current importance in my life:

1) The Biggest Loser - People . . . this show is INCREDIBLE! If you haven't watched it before, you NEED to stay home on Tuesday night and watch it or ELSE! It is sooo inspiring and it always makes me eat totally healthy for at least 2 days. :)

2) The Office - I know I really don't need to say anything about this because you probably all know how funny it is, but this season has gone to new heights with "Michael Scott's Dunder Mifflin Scranton Meredith Palmer Memorial Celebrity Rabies Awareness Pro-Am Fun Run For The Cure" (you can order your T-shirt online, BTW). Please tune in.

3) The Bachelor - Ugh. I know. Please don't make fun of me. Here's the deal - the guy is from Austin! So I practically know him! :) Just kidding. But really, something about this show is sooooo intriguing. Stan watches it with me and makes fun of it the entire time and I spend the whole hour defending those poor girls. :) Fun times.

4) Law & Order SVU - I was never interested in all these crazy L&O spin-offs and basically lost interest in L&O a long time ago, but I caught an episode of this two weeks ago and was hooked! The actors are terrible but the story lines are just crazy and so good! Check it out!

What are your favorites right now? Maybe I need to check them out, too! :)

In order of faves:
1. The Unit (a show for both guys and gals... guys love the military stuff, girls love the relationship stuff, and both love the awesome colors and unique camera work and overall coolness of the characters (seriously... they are so cool!). It's like a detective/drama/comedy/war/romance all in one. Try watching it two weeks in a row and I think you'd catch on fast enough. Basically, there are.. 5 or 6 guys? And they're a special operations unit who perform ridiculously awesome and seemily impossible missions. And then they come home to their wives and families. I could go on. It's so good. Tell me if you start watching it! (any of you!)
2. 24 (I think the new season starts in January. If you haven't seen it before, it's ok. You just have to start from the beginning of a season. No one knows what to expect this season... it's suppose to be really different).
3. CSI: Las Vegas-- I like it better than all the other CSIs. The acting is way better. I turn my head when they do the autopsies, which are way too graphic in my opinion, but I like the science and detective work:)
4. (Every once in awhile): "Who's Wedding Is It Anyway?" The music is always lame, but the rest of the show is entertaining if you're into wedding planning and drama.

And of course the Office... But that's more in a category of its own!

But that's pretty much it. So given that 24 is not on yet, I probably watch about 3 hours of TV a week. I love being able to record them on DVR, but now if I watch ANY show live, I can't stand sitting through the commercials!

I can't believe "The Biggest Loser" is your top show on TV. You think you know someone. Hey, totally unrelated question for you. Which coast is the state of California on? I always forget...

Our favorite show is CSI (Las Vegas). We ordered all the seasons from Netflix and are trying to catch up. Cooper said to tell you that his favorites are Sesame Street and The Wiggles - not that I'm a bad mom who lets my 8 month old watch tv or anything! =)

We just got cable too! We were getting tired of listening through the neighbor's window to hear the Chargers' games...

1. The Office
2. House - Stacey, OMG. You'd love this. Trust me. Not Jeff. :)
3. Friends re-runs

AND I am symbolically smacking Jeff on the head for that comment, just for you. :) We stick together.
