Dustin & Whitney Engaged!

Tonight I had the pleasure of meeting Dustin & Whitney at the capital for their engagement pictures. First of all, from the beginning, Whitney has been one of my favorite brides ever. She is SO sweet, funny, smart, and classy! Meeting Dustin for the first time was wonderful, as he is so funny and such a gentleman. The really make a perfect match!

People, props are totally great - bring props to your engagement session! Whitney and Dustin brought this UT gnome that watches all the football games with them - I love it! Needless to say, we had to get a few pictures with their faithful friend. :)

As I was driving home from their engagement shoot, I was thinking about these guys and how much fun I had with them. I thought it would be good for me to share what I now consider the not-so-secret formula for awesome engagement pictures.

being in love + trusting your photographer + being up for anything + feeling cute = fab pics

OH, I almost forgot the coolest part! Towards the end of our time together it started pouring. Whitney and Dustin were amazingly cool about it and totally up for some fun rain pictures. Then I threw all caution to the wind and asked if they would like to prance around in the fountain AT THE CAPITAL . . . and they said yes!! It was AWESOME! :) We didn't even get arrested! You'll see that the picture in the fountain below proves that it was 100% worth it. Way to go, guys!
