Happy Valentine's Day!

I know that there have to be a lot of great husbands out there....but mine really is the best. Stan is the most kind, loving, intelligent, handsome, fun, silly, and giving person I've ever known - I completely got the jackpot when I married him! There is literally nobody on earth that I'd rather be around.....and nobody who could ever love me like he does. He's incredible.

Here's the flowers he got me today:

And the Rascal Flatts CD's I am SO pumped about (I love them!)

And here's the stud in his wrist guards that he is supposed to wear as often as possible for his tendonitis (carpal tunnel, in my opinion). :)

Part of the fun thing about being a married lady AND a wedding photographer is that I understand the depth of what my brides and grooms are embarking on - and it's still special everytime I get to witness that in someone's life. When Stan and I shoot together, there's always a moment during the ceremony when we look at each other and smile.....I think it's our little way of remembering our own committment - and how thankful we are that we made it!

Stan, I love you with all my heart - Happy Valentine's Day!

Kevin and Misty

Another Engagement session - YAY! :) I LOVE shooting engagement sessions! It's such a fun opportunity for me and my brides and grooms to get together and have fun taking some killer photos before their wedding day. Kevin and Misty were wonderful and though they say they're not photogenic, nothing makes you look good in pictures like being in love! And that they are. :) Here are some pics from their session today.

Kasey & Shelby

Kasey, Shelby, Stan and I went down to UT today to take some fabulous engagement pictures and it was so great! You can't tell from these pictures, but it was freeeeeezing cold - Kasey and Shelby were such great sports and never complained a bit.....we just kept telling them to act "lovey-dovey" and they really worked it. Stan and I are shooting their wedding in June and we can't wait. :)

Where'd they all come from?!?!

I am officially shooting THREE weddings this year where the groom's name is Dustin.

This is truly facinating to me - where did all of the Dustins come from? Where have they been? And how is it that they're all incredibly cool dudes?

If anyone has an answer to this phenomenon, I'd love for you to leave a comment.

:)

Under Construction!

Hey guys - just wanted to let you know that if you go to the website today and some of the stuff acts weird or the pages won't load, it's because I'm messing with things and changing them up a bit. :) If there's such a thing as too many pictures, that's what I felt was going on with my website, so I'm downsizing a bit. Thanks for your patience - I should be all finished by the end of the day!

Love
Stacy

I love to shoot babies (that sounds bad, huh?)

Yesterday I got to do a portrait session with two handsome angels: Oliver and Hanan. They are cousins and it was so fun seeing these two playing and tootin' around together! We got some amazing pictures of each of them and I'm putting together individual slideshows, but let's start with Oliver. Enjoy!
